Treating Head and Neck Cancer

Most head and neck cancer is treated with surgery, which may be combined with radiation therapy and chemotherapy. Your doctor will discuss options with you, and decide what's best for your individual diagnosis.

After earning her medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, Jordan W. Rawl, MD completed her residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Dr. Rawl then completed a fellowship in head and neck oncologic surgery and microvascular reconstruction at Creighton University – Nebraska Methodist Estabrook Cancer Center in Omaha.

A member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and the American Head and Neck Society, Dr. Rawl has specialized training in the advanced care and treatment of head and neck cancers. Learn More >>
