How to Apply

Applying for the APP Fellowship Program

Program Requirements

Applicants must be:

  • A recent graduate with a master or doctoral degree in nursing from an accredited college or university (or a current Nurse Practitioner transitioning to Family or Internal Medicine).
  • Licensed in South Carolina as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (prior to start date).
  • Experienced in providing direct patient care (at least two years of full-time nursing practice or equivalent experience within the previous five years).

First interviews will be held virtually on March 29th

Start by submitting an application for the APP Fellowship position.

Provide Supporting Documents

Once you’ve completed the online application, you’ll need to send the following required documents to appfellowship@lexhealth.org.

  • Resume or Curriculum Vitae
  • 3 Professional Letters of Recommendation
  • Undergraduate and Graduate Transcripts (unofficial transcripts accepted)

All materials must be sent in a single email by March 15.

First Interview

Selected candidates will receive a link to complete a video interview after the application process.

Final Interview

An on-site interview will be scheduled with an executive interview panel in April 2024 on the Lexington Medical Center campus.

Documents for Later Submission

If accepted as a fellow, you’ll need to provide some additional documents.
