Lexington Medical Center is open to funding requests that address community health care needs, adhere to the core mission of the hospital, and bridge the health care gaps within our service area.

Applicants Notified

Applicants will be notified when the upcoming fiscal year budget is approved by the Lexington Medical Center Board of Directors—usually in September.

Eligibility

Applicants must be a non-profit organization under 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code or other approved government agency.

Giving Priorities

• Serving the local Midlands community's health needs.
• Increasing access to healthcare services for underserved populations.
• Improving education about and prevention of health problems resulting from social and environmental issues.
• Demonstrating collaboration with existing healthcare initiatives.
• Improving access to health care and support services for vulnerable and at-risk populations.
• Improving the capacity of safety-net services and providers.

Fiscal Year 2024 Awardees

Lexington Medical Center awarded $1,400,500 to 26 organizations in the Midlands that enhance the health and well-being of community members.
