Dr. McKenzie graduated from the University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky, with a bachelor’s degree in biology and earned his medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He then completed an obstetrics and gynecology residency at Wake Forest Baptist Health in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and continued his training with a female pelvic medicine and reconstruction surgery fellowship at the University of Texas at Austin Dell Medical School.
Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. McKenzie is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a member of the American Urogynecologic Society and the International Urogynecological Association. He has extensive experience in the diagnosis, treatment and management of conditions related to pelvic floor dysfunction in women, including urinary and fecal incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse and other related disorders. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. McKenzie served as a principal investigator on numerous research trials focused on pelvic floor postoperative care and outcomes. He has co-authored more than 20 journal articles, poster and oral presentations and online publications.
