Dr. Hudson graduated from Carson Newman University in Jefferson City, Tennessee, with a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences and earned his medical degree with honors from Edward Via Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia. He then completed an internal medicine/pediatric residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis.
A member of the Society of Hospital Medicine, Dr. Hudson is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine with additional certification in hyperbaric and underwater medicine. He has 10 years of experience caring for patients in a hospital setting. He recently served as a hospitalist at North Kansas City Hospital in North Kansas City, Missouri, managing the day-to-day care of hospitalized patients, including diagnosis, treatment and care coordination. He also served on the Medicine Advisory Committee, Orthopaedic subcommittee and Cardiology subcommittee at North Kansas City Hospital.
