A graduate of Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, Dr. Alisangco earned her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Pennsylvania. She then completed an internal medicine residency and a rheumatology fellowship at Medical College of Georgia in Augusta.
Dr. Alisangco is board certified in internal medicine and is a member of the American College of Rheumatology. With experience as an attending rheumatologist at the Medical College of Georgia and as a rheumatologist at a busy multispecialty practice, she is skilled in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of rheumatic diseases and related conditions. Additionally, she frequently attends national conferences to expand her knowledge and skillset in the latest advances and cutting-edge research in rheumatology.
