Dr. Dennison graduated from Florida State University in Tallahassee with a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences and earned her medical degree from the FSU College of Medicine. She then completed her pediatric residency at Prisma Health Midlands in Columbia, South Carolina, providing clinical care for patients in a variety of care settings, including pediatric and neonatal intensive care, newborn nursery, pediatric acute and emergent care and subspecialty clinics.
A member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Dr. Dennison has certifications in pediatric advanced life support and neonatal resuscitation. In addition to her clinical training, she served as a member of the Advocacy Committee during her residency, collaborating and implementing opportunities to benefit children in the Midlands, and completed research on the importance of resident competence and confidence.
