Dr. Puri earned her medical degree from Peoples University of Medical & Health Sciences for Women in Nawabshah, Pakistan, and completed her residency at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. She is board certified in internal medicine and a member of the American College of Physicians and the American Medical Association.
Dr. Puri recently cared for patients at Methodist Physicians Clinic in Council Bluffs, Iowa, including annual well visits, screenings, immunizations and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses. She also gained experience providing care for critically ill inpatients with various conditions, such as pneumonia, infections and exacerbated chronic diseases, while serving as a hospitalist at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She has special interest in hypertension, diabetes and anemia and focuses her practice on disease prevention and health promotion.
