Bio

Dr. Williams graduated with a bachelor’s degree in health sciences from Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina, and earned her medical degree from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia. She then completed an internal medicine residency at Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia, and an infectious diseases fellowship at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.

Board certified in internal medicine, Dr. Williams most recently completed her fellowship, where she gained extensive experience in caring for adults with suspected or known infectious diseases, including tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS, sexually transmitted diseases and diseases caused by bacteria or viruses. She also served on the Infectious Diseases Fellowship Evaluation Committee to provide feedback on the program while there.

Dr. Williams joins the board-certified physicians and highly skilled staff at Lexington Medical Specialists to provide comprehensive care for patients with infectious diseases. The practice uses the latest medical advancements and collaborates with other area specialists in the treatment, diagnosis and prevention of infectious diseases and disorders in adults.
