A summa cum laude graduate of Francis Marion University in Florence, South Carolina, with a bachelor’s degree in biology, Dr. Phillips earned her medical degree from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia. She then completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at East Carolina University/Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, North Carolina.
Dr. Phillips is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the American Medical Association and the Christian Medical & Dental Associations with certifications in advanced cardiac life support, basic life support and neonatal resuscitation. She most recently cared for patients at Monarch Women’s Wellness, Bayview Physicians Group/Chesapeake Regional Medical Center in Chesapeake, Virginia, providing comprehensive care to women of all ages. She has specific interest in high-risk obstetric care and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery.
Dr. Phillips proudly joins the board-certified physicians and highly skilled clinicians at Lexington Women’s Care to offer a full range of women’s services from initial exams and childbirth to menopause and beyond. Its staff of providers, including physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants, work together to provide patients with the highest quality medical care at convenient locations throughout the Midlands.
