Dr. Strasburger graduated with a bachelor’s degree in engineering management systems from Columbia University in New York City and completed his post-baccalaureate education in biostatistics, bioinformatics and epidemiology from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. He then earned his medical degree from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia and completed his obstetrics and gynecology residency at The State University of New York Downstate Medical Center and Kings County Hospital Center, both in Brooklyn, New York.
A member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American Medical Association, Dr. Strasburger most recently cared for patients at Harris Women’s Care in Sylva, North Carolina, and served as chair of the Maternal-Infant Committee and on the Surgical Executive Committee at Harris Regional Hospital. He has special interests in laparoscopic surgery, prolapse, pelvic floor disorders, incontinence, highrisk obstetrics and ultrasound.
Dr. Strasburger proudly joins the board-certified physicians at Lexington OB/GYN to provide comprehensive obstetric, gynecologic and diagnostic services to women of all ages, alongside highly qualified resident physicians and staff.
