Bio

Dr. Rac graduated summa cum laude from Clemson University Calhoun Honors College in Clemson, South Carolina, with a bachelor’s degree in bioengineering and biomaterials. He then earned his medical degree, graduating with honors, from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston and completed his urology residency at MUSC as well, serving as chief resident. He went on to complete a surgical urologic oncology fellowship at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois.

Dr. Rac is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Urological Association, the Biomedical Engineering Society, the South Carolina Medical Association and the South Carolina Urological Association. He most recently completed his surgical urologic oncology fellowship, receiving comprehensive training in the evaluation and management of urologic malignancies. Dr. Rac also gained advanced expertise in the multidisciplinary management of urologic cancers, including radiation oncology, medical oncology, urologic imaging and pathology, as well as extensive experience in minimally invasive and robotic surgery. He has co-authored and presented more than 50 peer-reviewed journal articles, textbook chapters, podium and poster presentations, abstracts and grand round presentations, and currently serves as an ad hoc reviewer for The Journal of Urology.

Dr. Rac joins the board-certified physicians, advanced practice providers and highly skilled staff at Lexington Urology to provide comprehensive urologic care and treatments for urologic conditions.
