Bio

Dr. Ashmore graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Baylor University in Waco, Texas, and earned his medical degree, graduating summa cum laude, from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He then completed a transitional year internship at Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, before his physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He also completed a pain medicine fellowship at Mayo Clinic.

Board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation, Dr. Ashmore is a member of the American Academy of Pain Medicine and the Spine Intervention Society and has additional certification with the American Spinal Injury Association and the Institute for HealthCare Improvement. He most recently completed his pain management fellowship, gaining extensive experience in acute, chronic and oncologic pain management, including neuromodulation and spinal cord stimulation, with the goal to help patients achieve their best function and quality of life through conservative and interventional treatments for muscle, bone, soft tissue or nervous system injuries.

Dr. Ashmore proudly joins the board-certified physicians and advanced practice providers at Lexington Brain and Spine Institute to meet the needs of patients who suffer from conditions ranging from acute neck and back pain to chronic spine disorders and other chronic pain conditions.
