A graduate of the University of South Carolina Honors College in Columbia, South Carolina, Dr. Morris earned his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, participating in its rural track to support his training while providing care for an underserved population. He then completed his residency at Prisma Health in Columbia.
A Columbia native, Dr. Morris has specific interests in preventive and lifestyle medicine, mental health and geriatric medicine. During his residency, he gained experience caring for patients of all ages in inpatient and outpatient settings, as well as received additional training in point-of-care ultrasound, sports medicine and global health.
Dr. Morris joins the board-certified physicians, advanced practice providers and highly skilled staff at Spring Valley Family Practice to provide comprehensive primary care for patients in Northeast Columbia. In addition to well visits and same-day sick and urgent appointments, the practice offers in-office laboratory services, minor surgeries and imaging, including X-rays, venous and carotid Doppler, and echocardiograms.
