Dr. Li graduated with dual bachelor’s degrees in accounting and pre-medicine from the Pennsylvania State University Schreyer Honors College in University Park and earned a master’s degree in biomedical sciences from the Geisinger Commonwealth Medical College in Scranton, Pennsylvania. He then earned his medical degree from the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine in Hershey and completed an anesthesiology residency at Virginia Commonwealth University Health in Richmond, where he also became certified in point-of-care ultrasound.
Certified in spinal cord stimulation, Dr. Li most recently completed an interventional pain management fellowship at Virginia Commonwealth University Health, gaining experience in the latest treatments in neurology, neurosurgery, pain psychology, anesthesiology, palliative care and integrative medicine to care for patients with acute and chronic pain. In addition to numerous presentations, he has published several peer-reviewed articles and abstracts on interventional pain management therapies to improve quality outcomes. He is also fluent in Chinese and English.
