Dr. Ruth graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences from Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina, and earned his medical degree from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia. After completing his residency at University of Florida Shands Hospital in Gainesville, he then completed fellowships in cardiology and interventional cardiology there.
Board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease, Dr. Ruth is a member of the American College of Cardiology, the American College of Physicians and the American Medical Association. He specializes in providing comprehensive interventional cardiology care, including treatment for coronary artery disease and acute coronary syndrome. Dr. Ruth proudly joins the board-certified cardiologists, vascular surgeons, cardiothoracic surgeons and highly skilled staff at Lexington Medical Heart and Vascular Center to provide patients with the highest level of care in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of heart and vascular diseases.
