John Montgomery, MD, graduated magna cum laude from Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina, with a Bachelor of Science. He received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia. Dr. Montgomery completed his residency in emergency medicine at Prisma Health Richland in Columbia, South Carolina, with a subspecialty in global health.
Prior to joining Lexington Medical Center, Dr. Montgomery worked as an emergency medicine physician at McLeod Health Cheraw and Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood, South Carolina.
Dr. Montgomery is a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians, the Emergency Medicine Residents’ Association and the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine.
