Ryan A. Walters, MD, graduated from Presbyterian College in Clinton, South Carolina, and earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. He then completed his residency at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine at Prisma Health in Columbia.
Dr. Walters is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Medical Association and the South Carolina Medical Association with certifications in advanced cardiac life support, basic life support, fundamentals of critical care support, neonatal resuscitation and pediatric advanced life support. He most recently completed a quality improvement project during his residency for the “Measure Accurately, Act Rapidly and Partner with Patients” protocol to improve blood pressure control in the practice setting.
