Analyn Torres Talip, MD, graduated cum laude from The University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines, with her medical degree and completed her postgraduate internship at Santo Tomas University Hospital in Manila, Philippines. She went on to complete her residency at State University of New York Mercy Hospital of Buffalo. She also completed a fellowship in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse.
Board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism, Dr. Talip is a member of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, the American Diabetes Association and the Endocrine Society. She most recently cared for patients in North Charlotte, North Carolina, and surrounding communities at Novant Health Endocrine & Thyroid in Huntersville, North Carolina, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of diabetes, hormone imbalances and thyroid disorders.
Dr. Talip has nearly 20 years of experience in adult endocrinology and has cared for patients with a diverse range of endocrine and thyroid conditions, including type 1 and type 2 diabetes, gestational diabetes, thyroid cancer, osteoporosis, hyperparathyroidism, hypoparathyroidism, hypophosphatasia, Paget’s disease, pituitary and lipid disorders, and male hypogonadism. She has special interest in adrenal disorders, specifically hypercortisolemia and Cushing’s disease.
