Mark H. Salley, MD, graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and earned his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. He then completed his obstetrics and gynecology residency at North Carolina Memorial Hospital in Chapel Hill.
Dr. Salley is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the National Board of Medical Examiners and the South Carolina Board of Medical Examiners. He is also an American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists Fellow and past president of the South Carolina Obstetrical and Gynecological Society and the Robert A. Ross Society at the University of North Carolina. Dr. Salley has special interest in preventive medicine, advanced laparoscopic surgery for endometriosis, pelvic pain and fibroids, and has extensive experience performing endometrial ablations, vaginal surgeries, reconstructions for pelvic organ prolapse and sling procedures for urinary incontinence.
Prior to joining the Lexington Medical Center Network of Care, Dr. Salley provided comprehensive women’s services at South Carolina OB/GYN. The highly skilled physicians and staff at South Carolina OB/GYN have provided gynecologic and obstetric services to women of all ages in the Midlands for more than 50 years.
