Jared Stone, MD, graduated magna cum laude from the University of South Carolina in Columbia with a Bachelor of Arts in history and a minor in Spanish. He received his medical degree from Wake Forest School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and then returned to Columbia to complete residency training in emergency medicine and a fellowship in emergency medical services at the USC School of Medicine. He is the medical director for Calhoun County EMS, associate medical director for the Midlands Technical College Paramedic Program and a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians.
