William D. Brearley Jr., MD, FACC, graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in biology from Presbyterian College in Clinton, South Carolina, and earned his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. He then completed his internship and residency at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. He also completed fellowships in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology at the University of Florida in Gainesville.
Dr. Brearley has been published in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology, the International Journal of Cardiology, the Journal of Electrocardiology and The American Journal of Emergency Medicine. He is board certified in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine and is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American Medical Association.
