A graduate of Furman University, James Leroy Wells III, MD, received his medical degree and completed his residency at the Medical University of South Carolina. He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Hematology and the Southern Society for Clinical Investigation. He is board certified in hematology, oncology, and internal medicine.
