David R. Kingery, MD, graduated magna cum laude from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, and earned his medical degree from the University of Florida School of Medicine in Gainesville. He then completed his internship and residency at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Dr. Kingery is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and the National Board of Medical Examiners. He is also a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine. Specializing in sports medicine, he teaches an outpatient, fast recovery technique of anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction to physicians around the country. Dr. Kingery is one of a few orthopaedic surgeons in the area who are trained in partial knee replacement. He performs more than 100 partial knee replacements each year and has more than 20 years of experience with this procedure.
