A native of Greenville, SC, Dr. Williams joined Columbia Cardiology in 2003. He received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina in Columbia and his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. He then completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Virginia Health Sciences Center in Charlottesville, VA and completed Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology fellowships at Wake Forest Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC.
His work has been published in Circulation: Journal of the American Heart Association. Dr. Williams is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology. He is also a fellow of the America College of Cardiology, a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and a member of the South Carolina Medical Association.
