Dr. Juk, a native of South Carolina, has 33 years of cardiology expertise. He received a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the University of South Carolina in Columbia, where he was also a starter for the Gamecock football team. He received his medical degree from Duke University and completed his residency at the University of Alabama. Dr. Juk helped to establish Columbia Cardiology Associates in 1977 and Columbia Cardiology in 2002, before joining the Lexington Medical Center network of care as Lexington Cardiology in 2012.
He has served as chief of staff at Providence Hospital and as president and vice president of the South Carolina American Heart Association chapter. Dr. Juk’s clinical research is published in many journals, including The Journal of the South Carolina Medical Association, Emergency Medicine and The American Journal of Cardiology. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology. Dr. Juk is currently a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a member of the American Medical Association, the South Carolina Medical Association, the Medical Society of Columbia and the American Heart Association.
