Dr. Phillips graduated with an undergraduate degree in biochemistry from Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina. He also earned an undergraduate degree in pharmacy from the University of South Carolina in Columbia. After graduating from the USC School of Medicine in Columbia, Dr. Phillips completed his family practice residency at Anderson Memorial Hospital in Anderson, South Carolina.
For nearly 30 years, Dr. Phillips has evaluated, diagnosed and treated acute and chronic illnesses and injuries in patients of all ages. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and has special training in medical endoscopy and attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder.
Dr. Phillips and the highly skilled physicians, nurse practitioners and staff at Chapin Family Practice provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages. The practice has served families in the Chapin community for more than 35 years.
