Who are these scholarships for?

We have scholarships and opportunities for high school students, nursing students, select allied healthcare students and working nurses.

Foundation Healthcare Scholarships

$2,000 and $4,000 Each
Awarded to LMC employee or non-employee who is enrolled full-time student in a nursing program or LMC employee who is part-time in a nursing program or enrolled in a select Allied Health program.

Other Requirements

  • Have maintained a minimum GPA of 2.75 for the most recent academic year.

Volunteer Auxiliary Nursing Scholarships

Amount Varies
Awarded to those receiving their nursing education at a variety of levels.

Requirements

  • Varies depending on the scholarship
  • Scholarships are available for both higher education students and high school seniors.

Linda S. Koucky Nursing Leadership Scholarship

Requirements

  • LMC-employed nurse
  • Pursuing nursing leadership role
  • Enrolled in one of these programs: MSN, MBA, MHA

Health Careers Exploration through the Partners Program

A program designed to introduce the health care industry to high school students of Lexington and Richland Counties who have a genuine interest in a health care career.

Requirements

  • Lexington or Richland County resident or attending a school within the Lexington or Richland School Districts or a dependent of a Lexington Medical Center employee
  • Rising high school senior at the time of application
  • 2.5 GPA or higher (4.0 scale)
  • Demonstrate a sincere interest in a health care field or working in a hospital setting.
