Lexington Medical Center Irmo Surgery department is ranked as one of the highest rated health care outpatient surgery facilities in the nation. Lexington Medical Center Irmo Ambulatory Surgery has earned the prestigious 2021 Pinnacle of Excellence Award. The award recognizes clients who have maintained consistently high levels of excellence over three years in patient experience. This year was the ninth consecutive year the department has earned this accolade, and LMC was the only hospital in the state to achieve it.
