Lexington Medical Center Welcomes Thomas D. Nguyen, DPM, to Lexington Podiatry

 West Columbia, S.C.– Lexington Medical Center is pleased to welcome Thomas D. Nguyen, DPM, to the hospital’s network of care at Lexington Podiatry. Dedicated to providing the highest quality foot and ankle care, Lexington Podiatry offers a full range of podiatric medical services, including conventional and surgical therapies, at two convenient locations in the Midlands.

Dr. Nguyen graduated from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville with a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and cellular and molecular biology and earned his medical degree from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago. He then completed his medical and surgical podiatric residency at Mercy Health – St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio, where he served as chief resident.

From preventive care to conservative treatments and major reconstructive surgeries, Dr. Nguyen provides comprehensive foot and ankle care to patients. He is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, the American Podiatric Medical Association and the American Society of Podiatric Surgeons and most recently completed his podiatric medicine and surgery residency, which included extensive training in forefoot and reconstructive rear foot and ankle surgery and additional focus on lower extremity wound care and diabetic limb salvage.
