Lexington Medical Center Names Kirk Jenkins Senior Vice President of Physician Network

West Columbia, S.C. – Lexington Medical Center is pleased to announce that Kirk Jenkins has been promoted to the position of Senior Vice President of the hospital’s Physician Network. In this role, he will oversee each of the hospital’s 58 physician practices in locations around the Midlands.

Mr. Jenkins has been with Lexington Medical Center since 2013. He joined the organization as an assistant vice president in the Physician Network.

Prior to joining Lexington Medical Center, Mr. Jenkins served as a health care administrator in the United States Air Force from 2004 to 2013. During his service in the Air Force, he held multiple operational leadership and strategic planning positions. 

Mr. Jenkins, a native of West Columbia and graduate of Brookland-Cayce High School, received a Bachelor of Science in business administration from The Citadel in 2000, and a Master of Business Administration from Clemson University in 2003. He is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. He lives with his wife and their three children in Lexington.
