Lexington Medical Center Welcomes Adam M. Lazzarini, MD, FAAOS

West Columbia, S.C. – Lexington Medical Center is pleased to welcome Adam M. Lazzarini, MD, FAAOS, to its network of care. Dr. Lazzarini will practice at Southeastern Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine, a Lexington Medical Center physician practice on the hospital campus in West Columbia.

With more than 10 years of orthopaedic surgery experience, Dr. Lazzarini specializes in using the most advanced surgical techniques to perform complex primary and revision total joint replacement surgery. He is an expert in hip arthroscopy, including management of labral tears, tendon injuries and impingement.

Dr. Lazzarini is also board certified and an American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Fellow with additional certifications in advanced cardiac and trauma life support, computer navigation of the hip and knee during total joint replacement surgery and anterior total hip replacement.

He most recently served as an orthopaedic surgeon at University Orthopaedics in New York, New York, treating fractures and joint injuries at a Level I and three Level II trauma centers.

A graduate of the University of California, Davis with a bachelor’s degree in physiology, Dr. Lazzarini earned his medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla. He then completed a surgical internship at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, and an orthopaedic surgery residency at St. Vincent’s Hospital in New York, New York, where he also served as chief resident. After completing this training, Dr. Lazzarini completed an adult reconstruction and hip arthroscopy fellowship at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York, New York.
