Learn more about visiting Lexington Medical Center.
What are visiting hours?
For general medical, surgical and obstetrical patients, we ask that you limit visiting hours to between 8:30 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. to ensure our patients get the rest they need. We can, however, accommodate family members who feel they need to stay.
For ICU visitation, hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. There are no exceptions to the ICU visitation hours.
Where is the hospital cafeteria? What are its hours of operation?
The Terrace Café is located on the lower level of the North Tower and open Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The Park Café is located on the ground floor of the Lexington Medical Park 1 building. It is open Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The Sunset Café is located on the ground floor of the South Tower. It is open daily from 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. with late-night snacks.
Where do I pick up someone who has just been discharged from the hospital??
Patients discharged from Radiology, 4th floor, 5th floor, 6th floor or 7th floor can be picked up at the North Tower Entrance off of North Hospital Drive.
Patients discharged from Endoscopy, Infusion or Outpatient surgery can be picked up at the East Entrance off of East Hospital Drive.
Where can I park?
Any undesignated parking space.
Does it cost money to park?
No.
Can I use my cell phone inside the hospital?
Yes, unless otherwise posted.
Do you have WIFI?
Yes.
Can I stay overnight with a patient?
This is on a case-by-case basis. Please ask the patient’s nurse.

Do visitors have to sign in?
No.
Where is the maternity ward/birthing center?
South Tower 2nd Floor
Where can I smoke?
Lexington Medical Center is a smoke-free environment. Smoking and the use of tobacco products is prohibited.
Is there anything I can’t take into the hospital when I visit?
Concealed weapons and animals.
