Your Room

Each room is fully equipped with an electric bed, private bath, nurse call button, telephone, free wireless Internet access and remote-control TV.

Hospital Bed

Our hopsital beds are adjustable to maximize your comfort. If you need help getting in and out of your bed, please contact your nurse for assistance.

Housekeeping

To uphold LMC's high standards of sanitation, our staff will clean your room once daily and change your bed linens as needed. If you spill something or need additional sanitation services, please contact housekeeping to request a cleanup.

Mail & Flower Delivery

Your mail and flowers will be delivered to your room daily by Lexington Medical Center volunteers. Please contact the Volunteer Office if you have any questions.

Television

Your room is equipped with color cable TV with a DVD player, compliments of the Lexington Medical Center Auxiliary.

Hospital channel 62 is available for patients and their guests 24 hours a day. It includes information about dining facilities, hospital gift shops, guest services, chaplain services, volunteer opportunities and community support groups.

Free Internet Access

As a convenience to you and your visitors, Lexington Medical Center now offers free wireless Internet access throughout the facility.

How to connect:

• Ensure your wireless card is configured to attach to any wireless network. Your card should auto-sense the LMC Guest Network.
• Open your browser and you will be directed to the LMC Guest Network.
• Accept the Internet services agreement and you will be connected instantly.

Visit Vision – Live Video Conferencing with Patients

Sometimes all your visitors cannot be permitted to come to your room. In that case, we offer Visit Vision, a television channel that allows you to see and talk with your visitors.

By turning your television to channel 2 and instructing your family and friends to utilize the wall telephone in our main lobby, you can see them while you talk with them. Your visitors can dial "3" plus your room number to ring the telephone in your room. Visit Vision is only available in the South Patient Tower at this time.
