Lexington Medical Center has partnered with Photography by Kellison to provide digital photos for use on the LMC Internet web site and WLTX. A representative from Photography by Kellison will stop by our Mother/Baby Suite rooms and ask if you would like a photo taken of your newborn. The digital photos taken are proofs and there is no charge for using a digital photo on our web site or WLTX. If you would like to order prints from the proofs, Photography by Kellison will provide you with more information.

Consent Form:

In order for your baby's photo to be posted to the Lexington Medical Center Internet or on WLTX, a consent form must be filled out.

The internet consent form is attached to the "Your Special Delivery" brochure. The brochure is included in the information packet given to the mother at time of check-in to the maternity ward.

To protect the privacy of parents and the new baby, only first names are listed on the Birth Announcement page and on WLTX. Along with the baby's picture will be a description of weight, length, date and time of birth.

The signature of both parent's names appearing in the announcement must appear on the consent form for the announcement to be posted on the LMC Internet site. Both signatures must be witnessed by an unrelated hospital employee.

After filling out the consent form, the parent's should give the form to the Photography by Kellison representative. A digital photo of the baby will then be taken. The photos are published to the Lexington Medical Center world wide web site as soon as possible. The amount of time varies for the photos to appear on WLTX .
